Who We Are

Making Abortion Possible

Our Mission & Values

The Pink House Fund is an abortion fund dedicated to assisting women wanting and needing abortion care.

When our non-profit organization The Pink House Fund was started, it was not started with the intent of creating another abortion fund — there were already organizations out there with the stated purpose of funding abortions for Mississippi patients. We were trying to add to what Mississippi needed. More support. Equal access to abortion care. Just another voice in the fight for reproductive justice for the women of Mississippi.

We wanted to support women going to the only abortion clinic in Mississippi, the Jackson Women’s Health Organization in Jackson, MS.

Unfortunately, the one and ONLY abortion clinic in Mississippi closed its doors on July 7th due to the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.

At that moment we knew that we were no longer just  “The Pink House Fund” for MS women. As the Jackson clinic expanded to different states to continue the fight for access….so did The Pink House Fund.

Our goal has since become so much bigger as the need has become so much greater.  Our mission now is to ensure, and reassure women everywhere, especially in the banned states, that funding, access, and assistance are still available…and we are still here for you.

How Our Fund Works

If women are in need of funding, we can assist with paying for their abortion and/or help connect them with additional funding resources.

We accept donations to assist with abortion funding, travel, lodging, and continued education surrounding the stigma of abortion related issues. Donated funds are allocated to abortion related care unless otherwise designated by donor.

The Pink House Fund staff remains in constant communication with abortion clinics in many states where abortion still remains legal in order to understand the constantly changing needs and laws in different areas to comply with and provide funds where they are most needed.

Thank you to everyone out there supporting The Pink House Fund.
